Black Friday
In other words, the Friday after Thanksgiving. I'm not sure if countries besides the US have it...
Do you participate in Black Friday shopping? How early do you go? Any plans for this upcoming Black Friday? Just anying about the craziness of this day... xD
Last year was my first time in it... I got two hours of sleep and waited at Sears for an hour for it to open at four am. I mainly tagged along with friends so I didn't have a set goal for anything that I really wanted. They wanted a whole bunch of stuff at Sears, so we went there first. I ended up buying an ultra-plush blanket for five bucks there. 😀
This year, I'm hoping Staples will have their Intuos4s on sale... 'cause I REALLY want one.... o.o That, or a wireless keyboard+mouse set somewhere... preferrably not Best Buy because usually you have to camp out to get the amazing deals. >_> I really admire those people...!

Sigh, I planned on going shopping then but my parents decided that we should all go to the Grand Canyon that day instead of going shopping...

Really? but why it mention in wikipedia that it is a harvest festival celebrated primarily in the United States and Canada? 😕

Nah, never been to one.
This year there are some rumors going around about some online black friday deals; I'll probably shop around and see if anyone is putting discounts on some video games I've been meaning to buy... I have quite a long list. XD
Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker?
Black Friday sounds like a perfect name for a band.

I suppose I should clarify.
Canada does celebrate Thanksgiving, but not Black Friday.
I don't wake up especially early for Black Friday, I just go when I have time, if I have not forgotten about it.
Ohh, but I did go out last year. I went to Target, when I got back home I was bruised all over. D: So not worth it.

Tried it once many years ago... went to Macy's at 6am (?) with my mom and dad... From that day, my mom and I vowed: Never Again!!! nope nope... not worth it for clothes, home stuff, etc... scary shoppers out there... I think lack of sleep makes people vicious.
My suggestion: Only go if you know for sure what you want to grab; if it's on sale; if there's a lot of it; if you're healthy and well enough to shop quickly... otherwise, try online Black Friday deals...

thats because wikipedia is a not completely acurate site. anyone anywhere can add something to it. not all of it is correct.
and btw im gonna go camp out at best buy so i can get a cheap tv for my ps3 i won in a contest ( lucky me ) and a new laptop. i have a gift at staying up for days without eating ANYTHING. im a surviving human. 😀
