I think everyone assumed that Ace and company were in level 5. No one has seriously confirmed that they were held there it was only based on the suspicion that there were there.

I never thought that Bon-Clay was cool or anything like that. He seemed to be just a side character just for laughs and then disappears. But with his reemergence in the Impel Down arc and how he saved Luffy in the name of friendship,even if he didn't need to, touched me. I never thought that Bon-Clay would become such a bad-ass character.

Ah I cried during this chapter because I'm a big baby lol.
I just can't help but admire Luffy, even if he's a fictional character he is still very inspirational.

I was actually expecting Luffy to get out at an earlier time than he did. Still, he got out faster than the average person. That's Luffy for you. He's pure tenacity.

I think Luffy will indeed find a way to get Ace out (and probably Jimbei, too), but I really haven't an inkling as to what it is. I can't follow Luffy's train of thought (or lack thereof). I like that though. Predictability is sooo boring.

when they early showed Ace,Jimbei etc. they didn't look like they were freezing there. i thought they would be at lvl 6 when they talked about it earlier, and was sure they were there when they showed lvl 5.

GolD Roger had like 40+ years taken off his natural lifespan cause he was killed. So if Luffy is killed before he dies of old age, then his "10yrs off" won't mean much.

And for his healing more quickly than Iva said he would, would that make it less than 10 years cause he didn't have to endure it more, or more than 10 years cause he healed quicker/more stressful than normal?

What Hermit-chan was talking about was that Gol D. Roger was going to die anyways. Raleigh was talking about it to Luffy and co. a while back. Rogers was physically sick and he turned himself overr to the marines before starting the pirate age with his execution.

I didnt understand the "short life span" thingy, cause Luffy hasnt a short one (-10 years isnt much, in OP you see pirates in their 60s if not above) and Roger had a normal life span BUT with a serious illness in the middle...
I interpreted "life span" as uhm something predetermined, like the -10 yrs for Luffy, not an illness randomly appearing: lolful but if she sad "he had a short life" I'd have understood the meaning!!! My bad, sleeping 3 hours doesnt help 😛
