As in Conan, Kindaichi, Detective School, Psychometer, etc?
Personally, I'm too dumb to guess it, so it's always at the reveal.

Because I've read so much mystery manga, unless the stories do something new or unexpected, I can usually guess who's done it as soon as I see their faces. Not because of clues or anything, but because of the way they're drawn and stereotypical written plots.

In about 500 chapters of Conan, I've only successfully figured out both the culprit and how the crime was done thrice.
