I am a translator looking to start a new group (name to be decided).
Our focus will be on Japanese manga which fit the following description:

  • Real world (i.e., no isekai, minimal if any fantasy elements)
  • Wholesome (friendship, sfw romance)
  • LGBTQ themes (whether explicit or undertones)
  • Somewhat serious (i.e., not fluffy slice-of-life, but not dark either)

The first series we will be working on is a new performing arts manga by Inaoka Kazusa called Camellia Curtain. It depicts a group of boys attending the preparatory high school for a theater troupe in which all roles, both male and female, are played by men. In essence, a fictional genderbent version of the Takarazuka Revue.

I am looking for people who can fill one or more of the following roles:

  • Cleaner
  • Redrawer

Unfortunately, I cannot provide any training or resources. I am an experienced translator, but I have next to no knowledge regarding other roles, so I am looking for experienced, mature people capable of getting their part of the work done. And it goes without saying that, given the nature of the works we will be dealing with, no discriminatory behavior will be tolerated.

If you are interested, please message me on Discord @ yanagikaze(#)0159 with a brief introduction of yourself, other projects you have worked on in your desired role, and your general availability.
