I'm refering to the filter function we have.
Provided you know of it (and use it), what genres/demographics do you highlight and which do you filter?
Also, what colors you use?

I filter only one thing, and that's djs. I rarely read them, and I'm not really interested in their releases. (I've started filtering it only recently though)

My highlited:

Ecchi and Hentai are orange.
Josei and Smut are light blue.
Seinen is red.
Shonen is purple.
Shojo is grey.
Yaoi is yellow.

Everything else I left un-colored since those pretty much cover everything. I don't filter anything.

Filtered: DJs, loli, and shota

I use color shading for "related" (in my mind) sections. Dark colors mean I dislike that end of the scale. Lightest colors are what I'm looking for.

Anything on the "boys" side uses light to dark blues: shounen, seinen, shounen-ai, yaoi, shota

The same for "girls" in light to dark reds: shoujo, josei, shoujo-ai, yuri, loli

Hentai uses the brightest red however. (FF0000)

Romance, Comedy, School Life, Slice of Life, Harem, Gender Bender are in lighest to darkest purples.

Fantasy, Supernatural, Scifi, Sports, Mystery, Historical are in lightest to darkest greens.

Drama, Adult, Mature are in lightest to darkest yellows.

Tragedy, Psychological, Horror are in lightest to darkest browns.

Smut and Ecchi are in lightest to darkest oranges.

Adventure, Action, Martial Arts, Mecha are in lightest to darkest grays. (Adv. is white)

DJs are black.

From a bumper sticker I like:

XD I only really read shounen-ai. Have only read three (yaoi) and only liked one of those, it was your recommendation, Kyuuso wa Cheese no Yumewomiru. =) Don't think I'll ever find any as good as that one, hence the filtering. If I ever want to try reading another one I'll just go by what is recommended in the convo though. O_O
