It's "illogical" to respect a woman enough to know that she deserves/can handle the truth and choose whether or not these are acceptable terms, and logical to somehow see this as treating women like dogs.
It's "illogical" to use "Enter" sparingly, and logical to write every post as haiku. (They're pretty good, though. I guess - I never got the fixation with surrealism in poetry.)

There is nothing to be proud of in a harem,
therefore I would not date any of them.
It is not fun, it is not convenient.
It is a pain in ass if there is any kind of
romantic feeling to it, as life is not
a dating simulator where one girl/guy
is picked and then that's the end of it
while we listen to a cheesy pop tune.

It stops being a harem
when one starts to pick favourites,
since it will eventually evolve into
some sort of intimate relation between
the lord/mistress of the harem and the
favourite pet. The pet would act like a
brood parasite and get rid of the rest to
achieve victory.

As for the nature of man,
it's a different thing to be a man in the
biological sense, as in having a hard time
passing a chance to get laid than to act
according to some macho alpha male ideology
and play a role to fill the ideological expectancy.

The illogical part is to ignore the drama
that is born of such carelessness
as letting feelings get to the point
where the other person starts to
have demands and grows out of the
role of a minion. This naturally will not
happen if there's no such principle
as a relationship.
This drama however should by no means
even be let loose in the beginning.

Harem is no harem if the subservients involved
in it aren't dedicated to the person
"in charge" of it, as in, the postulate being
us answering this poll. The ideal level of romance
in it is to show them all equal amounts of love
without making them feel like tools, but
still not making them believe that they are
special.
