One of my answers will not make sense because for some reason I thought BL was the non-Japanese term for Yaoi, but apparently it is the opposite. Oh well. 😐

Yay! Academic research on BL manga! 🙂
I'm also working on a paper (mine is purely theoretical, though), so I'm always glad to see other people researching BL as well~

I found your work interesting and some of the questions really showed that you did your research before working on this survey. 😉 I think it's really nice that this research also deals with scanlation. Many works only say it exists, but don't investigate further.

I also would love to read about your findings. Let us know when you are done and, hopefully, published it! 😀
