There’s this manga I read a couple months back, in 2024. It was probably published around the 2000’s, but I’m not sure yet, and I don’t have a specific time frame. It’s centered around this guy, the main character, who lives at the top floor of his house shared with his family. He’s a high schooler and has a classmate, (an important supporting character) who’s currently getting harassed by bullies. The mc (main character) doesn’t pay much attention to it at first until he’s cleaning up his balcony one day and notices a newspaper, seemingly from the future. He does a double take at the date and everything and pretty soon realizes it’s a genuine paper. The paper details that mc’s classmate, the one getting bullied eventually commits suicide and/or kills his bullies. The mc can’t believe what he’s reading until he’s biking home one day and spots his classmate, coming out of an alleyway with a bloodied bat. He talks to him and finds out that he wants to turn himself into the police for killing one of his tormentors. The mc decides that’s the worst thing to do besides suicide of course and takes him in. They live together for a few months or weeks until the mc decides that if his classmate really did kill someone, it’d be best to leave. They get on a train and move away at some point… what happened after that is still fuzzy in my mind so I can’t remember.. if anyone knows what I’m rambling about please reply!!
