im still hoping for there to be some proof that being gay is a sickness that causes you to like the same sex... cuz ==D + ==D dpes not work and nether does () + () as hot as () + () can be its still not normal IMO. And for those who say that guys are against gay guys but are for gay women there wrong. guys like to see 2 girls kiss and have sex but only if there in on it. We dont want to watch 2 girls having sex and not being able to get in on it cuz they dont like guys.

I am for it. Whatever the reason it is that two members of the same sex have feelings for eachother. If they want to get married more power to them.

actually there is, i dont no how it works scientifcally cuz my sociology prof was an idiot, but guys can be born with female brain and vice versa and if u bring up the topic of interests and crap, society brainwashes our kids into sexist interests. like how boys have to like blue and girls like pink and baseball etc. then again, that never rele stopped the greeks.

I hope people know that unless they are actually gay, this thread is completely inconsequential to them. Homosexuals make up less than 1% of the population in the US are actually homosexual (not including bisexuals). That is such a minute minority that it really doesn't matter enough to me that they can't get married legally. Now, on the issue of same sex couples getting married from a moral or legal standpoint, once again, I don't care either way. It has zero effect on me.

All the people likening this issue to racism are grossly exaggerating the gravity of it.

coming from generations upon generations of catholics, everyone in my family thinks it's "bad", but i have to say i'm am the COMPLETE opposite. you get one life and you should do whatever the hell you want with it. love is free and i don't think society or anyone else has a right to restrict it. If that's what you're talking about, and considering that it's ILLEGAL to bar a distinct group of people from any given freedom that other's have, I support it.

It has nothing to do with being gay. It's an issue of human rights. Tolerance for people who are different from us should be espoused in any place. (Mind you, tolerance doesn't mean you have to love them, it just means you can't keep them from doing the same things you're allowed to do.)
