Too bad we didn't get this chapter instead of last chapter, I would've liked Sakura more. If her decision to try and find Sasuke is because Sakura wants to make good on her promise to bring Sasuke back for Naruto's sake, then I can respect that--it's trying to make amends for her past bad behavior in a pretty big way. On the other hand:

I agree with this too. At bottom, no matter how much Sakura wants to insert herself into the situation and be a major player, she has no place in this conflict. Sasuke originally left, I thought, in part because of Naruto--because he'd seen how strong Naruto was becoming (while Sasuke himself hadn't made those kinds of gains) and because Itachi (in Sasuke's eyes) sort of acknowledged Naruto by attacking him (too bad Sasuke didn't know why Itachi was targeting Naruto). Back then, Sakura didn't figure into his thinking at all, in either making him stay or making him go, so she certainly won't figure into his thinking now. What exactly does she think she can do when she finds Sasuke (other than to get poor Kiba & Lee killed, that is)? Sakura doesn't have the ability to talk him out of whatever he's trying to do--she must know that--and she doesn't have the physical power to take on Sasuke + his team, so then what? I really do want to see her redeem herself and do something helpful for once, but this is Sakura we're talking about...

no matter how much resolve she has now, she does not have it in her to kill sasuke. she will probably try in vain to convince him to stop.
i do think that sakura does love naruto but it is more like we are more than friends but less down lovers kind of scenario. lets not forget about hinata confession. anyways most of this will not develop in to anything bigcause at the end of the day this is a shounen manga and not a shoujo.

I'm kinda curious what Sakura actually thinks, and what she is up to. Kill Sasuke? It would be interesting to see Sasuke vs. Sakura and the gang (specially Neji and Lee).

My bet on the double Sai thingy is that Sai's clone goes with Sakura (prob. to fool 'em), while he got some business with Naruto. 😀 😎

I am not quite ready to buy the whole "Sakura suddenly hates Sasuke" scenerio. Looking back at the last few chapters we see that certain people believe she is responsible for Naruto's behavior which leads her to think that she has the power to control Naruto with her "love". She goes swaning in professing her great love to Naruto only to have him, in front of audience no less, reject her and call her out as a phony. That humiliation is compounded by that obvious fact that Naruto and Kakashi are keeping stuff from her making her look like the "weak link", again in front of a live audience, that everyone thinks that she is. Oh yes, she is plenty cheesed but "I hate Sasuke" cheesed--don't think so. More the "I am going to put an end to this crap once and for all" variety most likely.

Good point Pretty, though I hope we do see some more character development in Sakura, like she needs more identity. Who she "is" in the Narutoverse.

Anyways as for sakura i dont belive she has strong feelings for sasuke anymore, otherwise she wouldnt say she loved naruto. I dont belive she loves naruto either if she did should wouldnt of given up so easily.

Sakura feels guilty for putting the burden of finding sasuke on naruto and thinks she is causing him pain. Honestly though naruto isnt chasing after sasuke cause she asked him too, pretty sure thats obvious. To naruto, sasuke is more like a brother then a friend, and he would of chased after sasuke even if she hadn't asked him to many years ago.

I guess I'm not seeing what everyone else is seeing but I think Sakura still likes Sasuke to some extent and I reeeeeeeeaaaaaaally wish Naruto would stop bitching, he still has it in his head that he can save Sasuke. If he doesn't kill Sasuke I'm going to spontaneously combust.

Same here, I'm pretty sure that's what Naruto thinks too, judging by his need to state that he's chasing after Sasuke for his own reasons and not 'cause of the crazy love triangle of doom.

Character death sure, but people just 'cause they like a character? Uh, bit much maybe?. Sakura's one of my fave characters, but I'm already groaning over the insane stupidity this plan will likely entail and fearing it'll be a repeat of every other time she's tried to confront Sasuke. Don't want Sasuke to kill her 'cause that would kill the whole possible redemption thing, but it's totally possible that he'll try to.

I'm hoping in the next chap Kishimoto will focus more on the fights, 'cause it was so choppy the last two chaps.
