there was a reason why they dont want to teach it

Nothing important happened in it, yes, but I think its real purpose was to show Ichigo's ban kai, Tensa Zangetsu, true form and show how hard Ichigo is going to have to fight with her in order to persuade her to let him learn that Final Getsuga Tenshou. This chapter I think was to introduce that character.

I couldn't agree more. To be honest, it really felt like that was the only reason they changed his appearance...

Yeah, it's probably another thing where Ichigo has to get his body used to the conditions he's under first in order to use it, like some of the training arcs he's been through so far.

I wish Kubo would learn to pace though...

Am I the only one who was thinking that this new Tensa Zangetsu looks a little too much like Aizen?

Pretty boring chapter all together. Hopefully, Tatsuki can show us the fruits of her labour next chapter. Or, we could just spend the next twenty chapters on Ichigo fighting and Isshin's reactions from the outside.

Either way, I'm sure Tite won't disappoint.

ok, doesn't anyone find it weird that the human could see Aizen and Ichimaru? I thought their bodies were made of reiatsu (which humans can't see/sense)?

Didn't all the humans with no spiritual...ness get knocked unconscious? So anyone still up are people like Tatsuki, who can see Hollows and Shinigami and such. I might be wrong though

No, what I mean is that at the beginning of the manga, the normal humans couldn't see shinigamis or hollows, but now for some reason they seem to be able to see both.

Yea, but Ichigo and co. could since they had some spiritual power or whatever. And anyone in Karakura town who is still conscious also has some I think, since they'd have been knocked out otherwise. Half-guessing here lol
