Names really help when reading something again... Easier to know when to expect the good part by looking ahead... Because definitely don't remember the chapter numbers, let me tell you, rereading Imitation right now, they don't have chapter names, i was thinking something happened in chapter 25, but it was actually 35, so was hyped 10 chapters too early... With names of chapters it is way less likely to happen...

I like names, they often provide just a little bit of extra flavor, plus like Trimutius said, they can be helpful when I'm going back and rereading, especially when I'm trying to find a particular part because my brain is like a sieve these days and I can barely retain any information at all, let alone that random side character's name from 20 chapters/half a year ago in real world time who's now suddenly relevant to the plot.
Even if I'm not paying attention to them and don't care about them in a particular series, they're at worst neutral, I don't actively dislike them, although sometimes they can make me worried when I see them before I start the chapter and they seem to be hinting towards something ominous.
