Read my post above yours, it could've been done a lot better than the way it turned out. For me, the plot hasn't moved in the slightest from the beginning of the chapter to the end of it, so IMO, wasted chapter.
Really nothing unexpected or out of the ordinary, everyone just stood around and then chapter over 😐
Probably just me though considering I seem to be the only one feeling that way...

But I still don't think its a waste, considering what happened.

It has, but it's like tactics said on the first page, it's kind of nudging itself along more than anything.
I guess we all got so used to Kubo's style of storytelling that when he taps the plot a bit forward, we're all like OH LORD, KUBO IS FINALLY MOVING IT FORWARD! FUCK YEAH, COME ON NEXT CHAPTER! 🤣

True. It's gonna take a lot for Kubo to dig himself out of this hole. Also if anyone's over hyped it's definitely the top 3 Espada. All of them combined were killed in less chapters than one lower ranked Espada. 😕
Still, I enjoyed this chap since something of significance happened and another was brought up. Not to mention once again we get to see Kensei in action.

You know what would have solved this problem: a few dead Shinigami captains. I think Kubo & Kubo's editor have hit a bit of a problem by making the Gotei 13 too powerful. This arc would have been much more significant if some of the captains and vice-captains had been knocked out of the game along with just a few of the Espada, instead of all of the Espada and no Shinigami. The stakes would be higher; the outcome less obvious; the plot would have taken an unexpected spin; and introducing all of the Espada wouldn't have seemed like such a waste (they were so cool - CLAMP has been accused of doing this as well: introducing characters just to kill them). If the captains are that strong, then there is nobody left to throw at them other than Aizen himself. But shouldn't that come at the end of the series?
So! Either (1) Aizen has something else up his sleeve that will be Awesome, Dumb, or Awesome-Dumb, or (2) Kubo has something else up his sleeve, but it will have to be something stronger than the Espada yet weaker than Aizen because the captains are just too damn strong. The former would be the least clumsy way out of this mess, while the latter would be lame but not unexpected.
Still liked this chapter, though. Kensei is awesome. Three cheers!

I getting impatient, I need to see some ichigo action and I don't see why everyone is so pathetic against Aizen, surely he can't be that strong. He's just owning everyone.

Kensei SHOULD be the second strongest Vizard (or third since Hachi hax)
Think about it, both Love and Rose where NOOBS captains, only Shinji and Kensei had a little while being captains...
Also Instead of doing the stupid thing that the others did (pull the mask and act like they are on drugs) he decided to go Bankai first
Mask:
Advantages:
Speed Bonus
Power Bonus
Defence Bonus
Special attacks (cero)
Disadvantages:
Time limit
Once the time limit runs out, you lose all your stamina (like a long night of wild sex)
The sudden power lost usually leaves you WIDE open to a nasty counter (WIDE, like a FAT GUY)
Bankai
Advantages
- Bonus (can be in all stats or just one)
Special Attacks (duh)
Disadvantages:
If you are close to dead, you lose control of it, and it deactivates.
Can be extremely stupid and useless (Renji being the best example... and then Soi Fon and her 2 shots bazooka)
So, Kensei did the smart thing... at least in my eyes.
