I thought; or more like there should be a “add comment” section in the Mangaka section like they do in the manga series section where people leave a little comment or preview on what they think or readied to people who have not . Same thing with the Mangaka,, if people leave a little comment after reading some of there work and found common theme to them they should post it just so people would not be surprise or what not or for people who have not read any of ther work.

I believe its a good idea, also if we get a chance to favourite them and get an alert if any new series of them has been added or scanlated....

I don't like this. People will be biased and some having read only a single series (Naruto, Bleach etc) will only comment regarding said series.

So many manga fans are close minded and think that if one series by the mangaka is bad, they rest are as well.

but the idea about fav'n them an being updated to new series is something that sounds good.

hmmm yeah i agree since im one of those ppl ^^; if i see ppl comment about how bad a series is, normally i wont even try it _ and if its a comment on a mangaka it would be the same. so yeah i also think it would be a bad idea,(now that Dubby mentions it) but the updates on new mangaka series's and fav mangakas would be sweet! 😀

Yup, I'm totally with Dubby on this one. You'd get the obsessed fans raving over how amazing a mangaka was, even if they weren't that great... and those who dismissed the one chapter of a series they'd read as crappy could then proceed to totally trash the mangaka, despite being in no position to do so...

It wouldn't be pretty. Hence, I vote against this idea.
