i'm not so sure what are you trying to ask...
if u ask whether the characters has grown up, then the answer is yes they did. both of them have went up a grade in school (i forgot what chapter..). yoshi's seat even end up in front of the class... he didn't go to school anymore a shikigami does. i'm not so sure about tokine though... i guess she still go to school
