Sorry, was not sure what the best way to get this out there was. Having a post like this gives this message some semblance of permanence.
I finally decided to make an account after what seems to be at least 10 years. I wanted to thank all of the contributors for your hard work and dedication. Seeing the notice on what is now baka-updates is a bittersweet soul-crushing sight to behold.
Baka-updates, and then manga-updates were my go-to sites for all the latest releases apart from mIRC channels. You've been a major part of my youth in my anime and manga immersion. Keep up the good work!

The second source of my manga database, after the direct publisher database site.
Now i realized, mangaupdates has become big but also keep simple. Simply-big(?).
I appreciate all of the admins for their work. And you, contributors.
