The Japanese publisher Kodansha is offering a new short anime based on CLAMP's xxxHOLiC manga series to buyers of Weekly Shonen Magazine, Magazine Special, and Bessatsu Shonen Magazine. Mailaway offer cards for the DVD present are included in this year's 25th issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine, the sixth issue of Magazine Special, and the July issue of Bessatsu Shonen Magazine.

The three magazines are also celebrating xxxHOLiC's move from Weekly Shonen Magazine to Bessatsu Shonen Magazine with mailaway offers for prepaid QUO cards. Weekly Shonen Magazine's QUO card has an illustration of CLAMP's Tsubasa manga characters Syaoran and Sakura, Magazine Special's QUO card has Tsubasa's Kurogane and Fay, and Bessatsu Shonen Magazine has xxxHOLiC's Watanuki and Doumeki. (Bessatsu Shonen Magazine is also offering a display mounting for all three cards.)

The same 25th issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine is shipping on Wednesday with a special 26-page, one-shot xxxHOLiC story. Namoshiro Tanahashi is launching a new Hammer Session! in High School manga series in the next issue. Not coincidentally, a television drama adaptation of Tanahashi's original Hammer Session! con artist manga will premiere in July.
