when you look at someone else's public list you can see any comments they made about different titles immediately but that's not possible to do with your own lists if they are not public. The feature does not exist on the "My Lists" page and you cannot access your own list overview (the one you use when you're looking at other people's lists) if it isn't public. Maybe you will consider adding this option to My Lists/letting users access their own lists overview even if those are not public (right now I'm getting "That user has requested to keep this list private. Too bad...").
