So with the impending release of CS:GO, comes a better game made by the real community that truly support this game and want to see it succeed. Not putting down CS:GO by any means, I know it will succeed with the proper backing of Valve, but in no way will it be what the community would really want. So, promod was created not to compete with the release of CS:GO but rather a means for true CS1.6 fans to truly enjoy the game with just a few changes to models, interface and customizability.

A simple description of this game would be CS 1.6 gameplay with CS:S graphics. Don't be sceptical because it's just a mod, there has been a substantive amount of time spent on this to fix bugs, and getting it as close to CS 1.6 as possible with just a little more graphical appeal. There will be a major patch Sept 23 to fix some of the bugs in 1.07, and will be one step closer to perfection!

Installation is easy, you just need either CS:S or Team Fortress 2 and Source SDK 2007 (download from tools in steam.
