Since you asked, I hope you asked as a courtesy as Shoujomagic has had that project for years. But if you didn't, I hope you know that some people such as the fans of Shoujomagic and this project won't be pleased that you just "took" it. But... shrugs

Well, I was just looking up your profile and it seems you were even asking the forum/community for approval at here and the latest post is 9:11 pm, Mar 16 2007. (Since you didn't mention it your orignal post, did you try to contact Shoujomagic? If not, why didn't you since they are listed under Love Monster's project page?)

I don't know how long you've been scanslating but say you're working on a project and then some other group just decides to start scanslating it because they think you're too slow. What are you saying to them? To me and some things that I've heard from other people, it's saying to the original group "I don't like how fast you're putting out the manga even though I get for free (the internet is pretty much free, no work, etc.)". And plus scanslators do the work as a hobby, and the manga is a time- and money-eater.

I've read how SnoopyCool has gotten angry about other groups just picking up projects at chapter 5 because I happened to look at this page. If you had done this to him or another group that felt this way, it might be uglier than what might happen.

I really don't agree with the second comment, but okay, you mentioned your point above. If it bites you in the butt one day saying these four lines... shrugs

But one things that also bugs me is, did you ask or even warn them that you would pick up the project?

Well that would take a away some Freedom of Speech. (They only locked Naruto is a Masterpiece instead of deleting it.) If they choose to lock it, that's their choice, but I wouldn't agree with the deleting and I have yet to see it (I'm not testing the powers of the adminstrators by saying that though).

Well... usually I don't care from which group certain chapters come from, unless they have good quality. After checking Man-Rev's version I must say, it's pretty low quality, so I'll rather wait for SM's.

yeah i love Love Monster, but I don't mind waiting for high definition scans from SM. they obviously have still been working on it, but i guess some people don't have the patience to wait

But um, it wasn't only Love Monster that they took, right? Didn't Shoujo Manga Maniac start Ko Akuma Café?
I may be wrong...but still...No offense or anything, but if you have the resources to translate a manga for the public, why won't you pick something that nobody else is doing? That way the work that is being put in the same series can be divided into more series....shrugs

This is not me Bitching it's me stating the facts:

First things first:

1. Any Project that is not licensed to a particular group any other group can pick up and continue, no one group has precedence over an unlicensed Project.
2. How dare anyone try to stop Lemon Inc / Manhua-Revolutions from picking up a project they have every right to.
3. I’m just going to straight to the point: ShoujoMagic has dissed us tried to get us to stop releasing Love Monster, they have no right to. We have EVERY RIGHT TO RELEASE THIS MANGA! It is not licensed to ShoujoMagic so they in my opinion and everyone at Lemon Inc / Manhua-Revolutions opinions can keep there own business to themselves and leave us alone.

As for this curtsey rule, it seems to be a bit of an unwritten law. So we don't have to apply for it if we don't won’t to. I don't want to come off as the bad guy here but WE HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG AT ALL! And SM not releasing a chapter of Love Monster for weeks and I even think it reached a month is a perfectly good reason for us not to "have to ask for permission". WHICH WE DON'T NEED!

We are just here to give the manga community what we feel needs to be given and in these cases we feel they really need to be given.
