The lack of high quality animation in both one piece and naruto?... Its pisses me off to see bad animated scenes every ep... distorted faces and stuff like they dont even care because the manga is famous and they can do whatever they want with the animation. Why cant they do it like those poor people of sunrise and Gintama... heck they always complain how they dont have money and stuff but the work they do with the animation is so high class makes you feel like its One piece and naruto who are having it hard to stay alive.( at least with naruto they used to have bad quality on the fillers only but since a while they seem to use the same team of animator for both feelers and normal eps).

Naruto vs Pain says it all for me.

I stopped watching the anime in favor of the manga a while ago (Around shippuden 30?).

Then I decided to watch one episode or two out of boredom. I ended up chosing the Naruto vs Pain fight randomly. I watched it for a while, thinking, "Ahh... so I really didn't miss much".

Never went back to watch any other episodes after that.

Can't say I regret it either. Lots of people who would have bought the dvds probably won't for this very reason, right?

Naruto was the anime that convinced me to start reading manga. I think it was the "Kakashi's Mask" episode that was the last straw.

Dropped it after chapter/episode 1. Never looked back!

youd think theyd have a bigger budget being so popular though huh?

looking back at Hellsing, the 1st movie had a good feeling but then they kind of screwed the animation a lot @ the comic relieve ( maybe to make it look more funny) i just hope those japanese guys do a good job with berserk i'd hate it to become another naruto/one piece( not that i dont watch them i still do O_o when i catch up to gintama tho ^^).

Anyone knows if the money spend on animes is made public? like the movies/tv shows in USA? i'd love to see if one piece and naruto budged sucks compared to gintama and some of the few other shows with a good animation.
