i wanted to know what ppl are thinking of the new KOF that should be released some time later this year. KOF has dumped all previos sprites and basically renewed all of there characters(atleast those appearing in this installment) with an entirely new fighting system. My first pick up of KOF XI was hard because i could never really seem to do dream cancels but after a few run arounds i kinda of got heella addicted to the cancelling system so i'm sort of drooling over the way these new sprites will interact with eachother. I saw the you tube video and i have to say i was a little disapointed because well...it was off a camcorder and i wanna see the full thing like full resolution. New Sprites of my favorite series in a high quality grafic over haul with a new gameplay structure is definitly whats killing my patience...The one thing that really caught my attention and made me go wow was the way Ash's hair moved..it' may sound gay but for ne one who's played alot of 2d games and tried to imitate something of that magnitude...you really appriciate the little things...and somthing telles me the little things are deffinitly going to be pretty big. I'm hoping that it's a little sped up and more over...i just hope i get to play it for christmas on home council...cus if not...ima be spending alllloooot of arcade money...

My impression of this series is the more and more girls characters that comes out as opposed by ugly chara MIA (Chang and Choi) or elder/mature (drunk master, poison ninja, i forgot their name). Kula, Hinako, Malin, psychic capoeira girl ....
For example In 94, AOF team was very 'manly' all man team and now in XI consist of Ryo, Yuri and King....where's Takuma, Robert or Marco?
For XII, i hope the roster doesn't filled with too much cutie or bishonen, i want some unique/strange character (yamazaki, Chang, Alfred, Kevin, indian guy from Fatal Fury which better than 'why it changes to this' Vanessa, Garou first boss) but doesn't too extreme like in the SF3 3rd

i kinda sort of agree with that lol
i mean on one stand i think there are too many girls coming into the series and the roster is becoming DOAish
but for characters like king i really can't knock them because my friend kicks my ass with king
it allwys takes me a full K' and mxima to kill her
and i'm pretty proficient with whip
oh and robert was on the console version of kof xi
...so was gesse...even tho he's like...dead
and athena who i thought was purley...fan service...packs a punch too
if it was just a random cast of many men...i think after a few characters it would b kinda...dull
i think the females bring a really good aspect to the game

Consider lot's of old character that disappeared in XI. I think (and hope) some of them will became enemy puppet and make a mid boss team.

Whoa, I wasn't aware of the fact that they're coming out with a King of Fighters XII so soon. (Personally, I love using K', Iori, and Oswald--I'm trying to get good with Vanessa, though.)
