Ive read alot of mangas and i havent come across anything like this..
Boy moves to city for uni/work
Boy meets girl at uni/work
Boy asks girl out, gets Rejected
Boy gets depressed, doesnt show up for uni/work as often, stops all together
Girl realises he is no longer there and starts to think about him. Realises her own feelings towards him
Guy moves back to hometown
Girl tries to find out where he went, (wants to confess to him)
Girl goes to Boys "Hometown" to find out hes committed suicide
Its a bit of a "Dark" idea but its one thing i wouldnt mind reading for once..
If anyone can tell me if that type of "Story" exists, please let me know.
Cheers

I feel like that's an awfully specific storyline there... nevertheless, I'd recommend Solanin as a realistic, bittersweet love story with a lot of twists in that vein.

the main guy is a Hikkomori, a young Girl married the guy's dad, the guy's dad is dead, Girl (now his step mother) takes care of him, guy falls in love with her, she leaves him, he tried to kill himself
(the only difference from your list is that the guy doesnt have any work or hometown since he's practically a hermit)

that's pretty specific lol. i don't think there would be a male main character that goes back home and quits uni just because he got rejected :/ if there was the manga he's wouldn't be very popular, that type of main character sounds kinda pathetic to me ^^ only my opinion though

Yah that is way too specific for an inquiry. If you're gonna look for particular types of manga, you should try asking for a more general type. Especially since everytime you add another specific you're limiting character personality, plots, settings, etc.
The main character you're looking for sounds like a very pathetic man. Something as insignificant as rejection from a girl that the character hasn't known for long isn't exactly a strong story point so you probably won't see it often if at all. In a staggering amount of Seinen type mangas male characters, when faced with rejection, eventually overcome or are helped through the rough patch and come out stronger for it. You could try searching for "Romance + Tragedy" manga with possibly "Daily Life" if you don't want the story to be too fantasy or riddled with adventure elements and "Drama" if you want it to have many emotional elements. You may also have have better results searching through either Shoujo or Josei type mangas.
It's not exactly what you're looking for but I guess you could try School Days or Myself;Yourself. Although i think Myself;Yourself may just be in a light novel and anime medium.
You can also try Peach Girl. This manga has some of what you're looking for to a much lesser extent but riddled with personal tragedy and drama.
Also Bokura Ga Ita,
this one starts sweet with a few dramatic points here and there. But if you tough it out you will certainly not be dissapointed in the tragedy department. I, personally, could not finish this manga because it became too sad for me after a while.
I hope that helps 🤢

No offense intended at all, but I am just merely curious, is this suppose to be a reflection of your own life or something?

nope, althought ive delt with depression, it wasnt related to my inquiry. I was simply asking if that kinda of manga exists where the story follows those lines..
