I'm searching for a science fiction/dystopian story from the perspective of a machine/building.

It's about how they decided to store DNA(?) Inside a building. All humans die, climate change happens,.. and the building safeguard the last chance for humankind. While the building waits for rescue and improvement of weather, it thinks about all the memories it has from the researchers.

The story is most likely not very famous or known, but it hit me in the feels and it would mean a lot for me if you could help me.
