I had a girlfriend before, and lemme tell you, when it comes to going down on a girl, trimming IS important. At LEAST trimming.

Why?

Well, because...

1. SMELL. It smells less if it's neater and doesn't get all up in your face (the cloves smell less intense if your face isn't planted in the clove-bush, let's say), plus it's less sweaty/musty... Sweat really can add to the smell needlessly - it can make an otherwise pleasant, even mouth-watering earthy woman-scent into something stale and kind of ick-inducing. Less sweat = more fun. Unfortunately, more hair = more sweat. And more "trapped" smells, besides. You know how scents get trapped in carpets, but not on pinewood floors and less on simple mats? Yeah. At LEAST trim, please.

2. ABILITY. Her being trimmed/shaved allows greater mobility of your tongue (because you don't have to worry about, er, oral interlopers of the strand variety) and greater enthusiasm (read: "thoughtless, uninhibited eating out").

3. ENJOYMENT. It is therefore more enjoyable for the receiver as well. She likes thoughtless, uninhibited eating out.

4. REWARD. What is enjoyable for the receiver is enjoyable for the giver. Her being trimmed/shaved means more direct tongue-contact with relevant erogenous zones in the area (heck, the WHOLE area is practically an erogenous zone, except to varying degrees), and if the girl's enjoying it like crazy, then chances are that so are you. 😀 You are less likely to get your jaw tired/seized-up as well, since it'll take less time to get her off. In most cases.

5. REPEATS. Less jaw-ache = more win. And a better mood overall, AND more ability to kiss enthusiastically afterwards (if she's into that kind of thing). Maybe even go for a second round...? Because if your jaw's aching badly and you've already gotten off, you'll be less likely to want to start something new all over again. This is something you should be capitalizing on - after an amazing orally-induced orgasm, a woman might be very happy to go for another round and more likely to do something special that you like. Instead, when you're unpleasantly achy (as opposed to pleasantly achy), you'll be more like: "Just lemme get some sleep, please... Uh, after I drink that glass of water and pretend that I'm not actually rinsing my mouth with it." No, that is NOT a win-win situation. She'll know that you didn't really enjoy it - women are wise to this stuff. And if she thinks you didn't, she'll either feel inadequate (NOT good for your carnal future with her!), angry ("why should I give HIM head when he doesn't want to do the same for me?") or just less likely to ask for it again (also NOT good for your future enjoyment with her, because it'll make her less sexually honest and therefore, less generally randy).

For all the above reasons, a woman trimming/shaving is great. For BOTH parties involved.

Some women LIKE having hair to "gently tug on" down there, or just to generally "play with". For these women, they might genuinely enjoy it more if they let it grow out. In which case, YOU should go along with it, too, because if she feels good, trust me, she'll return the favor later. With interest. 😉

Some people LIKE the sweaty/musty smells involved in going down on someone, in which case they'll also enjoy it if the woman is unshaven or even outright wild. For these people, it's "primal perfume". Nothing wrong with that!

Just that a majority of people would rather just enjoy the "pure scent" of what's inside a woman; they'd rather just have the honey, not necessarily what's all around the honeypot. (You want the rose you don't have to trek through sulfurous forests to pick.)

Trimmed is fine.

Shaved to me is kinda bleh. Like any hair, it does need to be trimmed (just like a beard, hair on your head ect). It needs to be well managed/groomed, but I don't think it's cool (this is personal preference) for it to look prepubescent.

Hair is just more erotic. When kept groomed, it doesn't get in the way of action down below (I've never had issues =p)

Shaved grows out and becomes a nasty, itchy mess. Just say no.
