Sensible characters in extreme stories

A question for the readers of manga with guro, scat, incest blahblahblah elements. (I don't really know... maybe just plain hard-core hentai also will do)
Is it better when there is someone innocent and sensible like running around and screaming you're all insane!!! no! no! no! you should be reported! (corrupted in the end), or just to take a peek on a cranky world?
Mine is an annoying option. Seriously, that just reminds me of Stephen King's stuff (sorry fans, blunt-witted here) where plain American who wants to go to a supermarket everyday and to make toasts in his toaster is haunted by an universal evil. Ugh.
But not only annoying. In Drafting a Water Goddess, which is supposed to be humorous, a reasonable girl left a really bad taste in my mouth.
So... defend your opinion!
P.S. There wasn't such thread, right?
Annoying, but at the same time an
important part in the ideal incest tragedy
of suffering and treachery!
Oh!

I dont mind cuz this kind of mangas interest me mostly because they're different and often uncliche.

Of course! It's always a pleasure to corrupt an innocent..... oh wait, you mean in a manga. Yeah, that's fine too.

-irl: very much so. these days, you dont even have to do anything. at least where i live
-in manga: its entertaining but only for kids. innocent adults being corrupted is kinda boring
