Goodreads is a social cataloging site for books.

This was posted by Axis in 'Link of the Day' topic, just thought it deserved it's own topic as probably most people missed it...

I found it a great way of keep track of things, as I have a tendency to read about something, think it sounds great and then forget about it by the next day =P

It has all the usual social things like groups, friends, shoutbox, etc.

I had the same problem =P at one point I'd walk all the way downstairs to my book shelf, glance about till I found the names of a few I have read come back upstairs find them on goodreads and repeat the process till I had found all the books I had read on the shelf.... a tedious process mainly due to my terrible memory =(

I am still adding books by the day, remembering books I had to read for school and adding in programming manuals to beef up the numbers read =P

haha just looking at your profile has gotten me to add a few more books... all the Roald Dahl books, damn it has been a long time since I have read them =P
