I'm rooting for Shogun because he is Brazilian. 😛
But I really think he will win, second round too.
In the brazilian betting houses the odds are heavily against Jones
Edit: He will win with a Half-Guard

How heavy are the odds against him? In most online casinos, Jones is the favorite (-190 or so, with Shogun at +160)... if the odds are right, you might be able to guarantee a profit by betting on both Jones (in Brazil) and Shogun (online).
I'm leaning slightly towards Jones to win the fight, but I wouldn't be too surprised if Shogun wins - it really depends on how well he's come back from knee surgery this time. Faber should win his fight easily.

Jones is 7:1 right now. Even tough I think he will lose betting in his victory isn't that bad of a deal. The bets are really unfair on him....That is probably happening because Shogun is a brazilian

Wow, with those odds you could easily guarantee a middle... if you still have time to place the bets, you should do that. A ratio of of something like $100 (Shogun, online): $32 (Jones, in Brazil) would guarantee a profit of about $120 (not accounting for currency conversions and such, but still...).

I tought about that, but I have no international cards. Fuck, I miss my father more than usual right now. Till yesterday morning he would return today, then he suddenly changed plans.....These dollars weren't meant to be.
Just to make sure I would bet in a draw. Draws have an extremly high pay rate, so I wouldn't need to bet that much to cover some of the deficit in the case of a draw.

Well, that's a shame (good thinking on betting the draw, though). Remind me to check with you next time a popular Brazilian's an underdog in a UFC event - if I had known about those odds, I'd have been strongly tempted to fly to Brazil for the event.
Anyways, it should be a good event.

Maan....If we aren't the only ones to notice this, there is probably a brazilian out there getting rich.
Edit: I really want Shogun to win also because I like Lyoto. Shogun made Lyoto look like a little girl last fight, Shogun losing now would make him look even weaker 🤣

Perfect timing, he used the kick in the most critical moment and when njokuani had his guard down. The UFC128 is only starting, but this for sure is going to be the one or one of the best hits in 128
Edit: Convincing victory from Luis "Banha"

Mirko "Cro Cop" fighting at his best would surely win this fight, but he's not been very well lately.. 50-50. But I'm still cheering for him
edit: Brendon better in this round, mirko is letting the clinch happen, can't really understand what he wants to do.(aside from getting punched)
edit2: Awesome fight from Jones, very agressive, vicious. He deserves the win.
Bad fight from Shogun, lacked his usual agressiveness, didn't try to exploit the opponent weak points. Probably result of the time without fighting.
I would like to see a rematch in 1-2 years (I don't think Jones will lose until there)
And in the end that spinning kick was indeed the most beautiful hit of the edition. Njokuani will surely dream with it. 🤣
