(Even though the quote above is from Hamlet, I first saw it in a Final Fantasy Versus XIII trailer on YouTube ^o^)

I want a convenient way to read manga online and then donate money to support the creators of the manga I like. I don't like to buy physical books because they take up space, and I also prefer to decide how much I think a story is worth after reading it to completion. It sounds like OpenManga is working towards something like this, but time will tell if they will get it right.

I would totally pay for online manga, too. I would even pay the same amount as for a printed version, if getting it online means getting it sooner or getting it at all. I think, people who chose "No, I prefer physical paper" live in regions where they can easily access manga. Well, I don't. So I really appreciate that there are websites like mangafox, etc., so I get to read loads of manga I would never be able to access otherwise. It's sad that by this means the mangaka don't profit from their great works, so I'd be glad if there would be the option to buy online manga in the future.

Not really. There are very few titles published in my country. I just don't like the idea of paying for a comic that doesn't physically exist.

Can't you order them on internet and have them delivered? I do that, often, and I often have to pay international cost (?) for the delivering. This is a choice I make because I want physical copy, even if I can't access this copy in my country. (but I have to admit, a lot of series are available here.)
No. Maybe if it was really really reeaaallyyy cheap, but that's probably not likely. I'd rather use that money on actual manga that I can hold in my hands.

I don't know. Some can be ordered at amazon of course, but it's more expensive than buying them in my country (Germany) and you can still only buy a few manga there. If you know any good and reliable websites where I can order English manga, please tell me! 😕
But I fear that it's not that much about whether I can access manga, but about if they are published in a language I can understand. My hope is that more manga will be translated into English quicker when you can buy and read them online ...

I live in Germany, too,and can get Manga easily. I just go to Osiander or Thalia. And if they don´t have it there you can order it without paying extra. Or you can get them on http://pummeldex.de in the pummeldex shop

if I had to pay for online Manga (and I had enough money) I'd probably rather buy the physical paper. I'm just reading online because:
-it's faster translated
-I'm poor 😀
-and I can try out and check if the manga's nice, then drop it if I don't like it this way
but the money's the main point. Actually I'm even more comfortable with physical paper...
There's nothing to see here. Proceed with what you were doing or throw rainbows at random pedestrians.
