okay, im not saying that i dont believe in true love-im just saying, theres around 7 billion people in this world, and just ONE of them happens to be speaking the same language(well, im assuming)you're speaking and that you've met them. 1 out of 7 billion others who could probably be better loves than the one you love right now.

And then, take into account every single person who's ever lived. I don't even want to think of that number. Who's to say that one of them could have been an actual 'true love' but you just happened to have been born at different times? Or that your 'true love' won't be born until you die, or that you never meet them?

So, am i overthinking this, insane, or making you go 'hmmm...' ? Does anyone else think like i do?

p.s- i would appreciate it if you kept ' god creates someone just for us' out of this because that discussion wouldn't really lead anywhere except for a battle between atheists and believers. 🙂

You mean, love that is true? Yeah, for sure. I had/have that for one person who I thought she liked me and I think she thought that too until she suddenly thought differently. Although that was my fault since I'm too immature and not bf-material at all, so I completely understand.

Love that is true gives you... joy, I suppose? A sense of peace? Something to support on when life punches you in the stomach. I think that's what everyone wants. When you find it and it doesn't want to be caught, it gives you this tremendous feeling of sorrow. And well, you don't just forget it. It stays with you for the rest of your life. Each time you think about it, a fierce jab will go through your heart.

So yeah, love that is true can definitely be found. Honesty is needed and trust in that relationship. I lacked trust and matureness. And once you find it, let it be free. Don't cling on it, don't suffocate it. Just enjoy the ride with this wonderful person you found. :]

True love as in a fated person, hmm, I'm not so sure about that. I do believe that you can decide who is the true one for you. So don't miss your chance like me~ XD Good luck!

yea, i agree that the chance of loving, and having your love reciprocated by one out of 7 billion people on this earth is pretty slim...i do believe in true love though, a concept that greatly contradicts my otherwise-stringent dependence on science and logic, both of which dictate that love is a mere emotion that is induced as an incentive to sex and reproduction

I think that you're overthinking it. When it's something like true love, you don't think. It just happens. Putting too much thought into it will ruin it and quite possibly will stop you from finding your answer because you'll just be thinking about it instead of going out to experience it. Just let it happen and you'll realize it's true love when it happens.

'What's in a name?' The label, "true love", is nothing but that: a label. You choose who you want to be your true love. Stressing over it is pointless. As loose said, you might end up ruining it if you overthink it.

And whatever happens, happens. If you thought deeply that someone was your true love and they end up breaking your heart, then maybe it was supposed to happen so you could find someone even more worthy of the title.
