So I recently bought fire emblem awakening for 3ds and I want to know everyone thoughts one it!

This is my first time playing any fire emblem game and I love it. I'm on my second play through and so far my favourite character is Gaius cause he's hilarious and super useful once I've promoted him to assassin.

I got completely hooked on the game.

I'm treating it a bit like a visual novel at the moment though haha. Currently going through and getting all the confession scenes to fill out the support log book.

Honestly, I have been thinking about playing a third run of FE:A for awhile now LOL.
I originally planned my second play at the game to be in Lunatic+/classic mode, but I could never make it past chapter 1 without someone getting killed off. Dang, especially Lissa! That gurl would die so quickly 🤢 ... I also remember struggling to keep Virion alive.
So I went back and played lunatic/classic, I kinda regret that decision but it was still a struggle from my first play of hard/casual.
I really love concept tactical role-playing merged with the awesome dialogue between the characters.

• the skills!! oh man, the amount of skills per job. I don't care how much time I need to spend, everyone needs to have Sol, Galeforce and Renewal!
  Overall, I really enjoyed this game and I cannot express how much I love Lon'qu HAHA (Inigo comes second 😉 ) There's so much to do and there's always a challenge! Especially in lunatic where they bump up the difficulty in streetpass matches and DLCs.
  I remember playing this when it just came out, i'm really surprised I remember this much 😲 but sorry if I did get anything wrong!

For FE:A I was going to do my first play through on Normal (intro to the gameplay, I guess xP), then on hard, and later Lunatic/Lunatic+. All on classic mode... except maybe Lunatic mode... First play through on Lunatic mode will be on casual and the other on classic x.x
Since I'm not good at video games in the first place, chapter 5 on hard (or any level above Normal) kicked my butt e.e Usually MU is +speed/-luck (Double hitting and increasing evasion! <3), and I was able to pass it (I call chapter 5 the chapter block/wall e.e So difficult...) since I had a rescue staff!
BUT I re-did it with MU as +magic/-luck and I can't pass it anymore x.x I always get super close to clearing it.... but Miriel keeps dying...

So.. For now, I'm going through all the characters to get all the support convos (excluding confessions) before I move on xD It's pretty easy to get the support convos on Normal, since I leveled the characters enough to sweep a map alone.
I love my original pairings so much that I have a hard time switching them around to get the most out of the future children.

I TOTALLY agree with you, except it's switched! I'm in love with Inigo, Lon'qu and Henry come after!

Enjoyed and loved it. Might even do a second run of it. The most appealing thing beyond the gameplay is the motley of characters.

as a veteran of the fire emblem series, awakening was top 5 out of the 13 fire emblems. It brought back characters from every game and brought back the love system from FE4 which was arguably the #1 FE game. If you liked awakening, i would suggest getting FE4 on a rom and getting the english patch (think serenes forest has a patch for download). Currently filling out support logs for all characters.
