I'm looking for a manga I saw a long while ago, remembered, but can't track down. Google, amazon and baka have all been tried; the problem is, I can remember the look and details, but not the name.

Ok, here's what I know:

1. It's licensed (I saw it on amazon), and has many volumes
2. I THINK it's pretty famous, definitely not obscure
3. Story involves two adult male friends who were possibly in a war together, who later go into politics and the intrigue therein
4. If I put it into categories, I'd say it was seinen, drama and adult
5. Possibly written in the early nineties, late eighties, but it's not recent

Does this ring any bells for anybody? It looked so damn badass, I wish I'd bookmarked it
