The MC has some sort of system where he can use it to cultivate, and if anything threatens his life it summons some guard from the heavens (who if I remember is excited to be summoned) to protect him. The first time I remember it being used he was being chased by a monster girl of some kind. The guard was so strong she willingly decided to serve the MC too.
