Younger than 20, and yep, still do. :]

For the ones still staying with their parents', when do you think you're going to move out? Or have you already tried, but you weren't allowed? And for the ones who already moved out, when did you? Did you stumble upon some problems at first?

I'm hoping to move out early next year when I turn 18, since I've leeched long enough already, and I don't want to live here any longer than I have to. I'd like to get a little apartment of my own but I think I'd be better off with a roommate. I'll be going to college exclusively that year too, and I don't want to spend those 4 years at home. cringe

Yeah I still live with the rents.

I'll probably still be living here for another year. I might move out when I start my first year of a BA course. (planning to do foundation first).

I'll definitely have move out if I go to a Uni outside where I live, but for the foundation year, I'm hopefully staying local so I can stay at home. (more about saving money than anything else).

I'm in no hurry to move out really. I mean, I can't cook great meals (scrambled eggs on toast ftw), so I need to actually bother to learn before I go live on my own to save myself from eating too much scrambled eggs and instant food 🤣

I moved out 4 months before I turned 18. It was pretty rough at first; I lived out of friends cars, houses, in parks ect for 3 months till I found a friend who was just getting an apartment. After that things were relatively easy. I most likely would have stayed with my parents longer if they hadn't gotten divorced around that time. I just left them both as I didn't want to be used in the court proceedings.

I ended up in an entirely different world because of it though. Met quite a few people that I never would have known otherwise, and did a lot of mischievous things. Things really moved forward after taking that leap, though when I did it (back in 94, yah, I'm old) there wasn't a recession and such messing with the job market. It'd be a lot tougher to do today than when I did.

I'm younger than 20 and I'm still living with my parents, but I'll be probably moving away this year. I lived with my big brother for two years when we were still building our current house and it was much better than living with the whole family. There's hardly ever a quiet moment when 9 people lives in the same house...

I'm younger than 18 but I don't live with my parents. I go to boarding school, and over the breaks I go to different camps and so I don't really see them very often. Maybe once every two years? sometimes a bit more often then that. I'm still living off them, but I just don't live with them. It gets to the point where sometimes even when we are in the same city, they rent an apartment separate from them for me and my siblings. Maybe they want us to be independent or something? I'm not sure, but it's forced me to take care of myself. i dunno if its a good or a bad thing, but it's let me do pretty much anything i want to do. Anyways when i do make the switch of becoming completely independent, which will probably be after college, i'll probably only have the problem of limited cash. I don't pay attention to how much money i spend because my parents give me more money then i really need, and so its gotten to the point where i don't really value money. It's gunna be hard to learn how to switch... Anyone else under 20 but living by themselves? ( I think i was the only one in the poll)

Under 20 and yup. XD

I was supposed to move out this year and had everything worked out but backed out at the last minute because of some problems. To be honest, I'm glad I actually stayed home. O_O;; The thought of leaving home because I wanted to has never crossed my mind since I am happy where I am, the only reason I even thought about moving out in the first place was because of the distance between my house and my uni.
