All in all, this was just an exposition chapter since Kabuto spends most of it explaining things like why he hasn't killed Anko yet, and the full process of the Impure World Resurrection jutsu.

Yeah I remember some weeks back in another thread ppl were speculating who would be brought back to fight Naruto, only leaves his mom now I think. In any case we know more about it. Cant wait to see more of the war.

It looks like they really will all be loved to death if they aren't completely destroyed in one shot or Kabuto is taken out.
First you have to defeat your darkside with a hug, now Kabuto summons dead people that can only be put to rest by love or having their desires filled.
Awesome.

interesting chap. i would like some good fights to start now. no more dd n sasori bs(which was really terrible considering how dd took out gaara and now he cant even fight kankuroo).
but anyway the joint ninja army got lucky that the hokages aren't ressurected because they'd be in deep doo doo trying to fight those juggernauts.
and i kinda miss sasuke lol

I can't think of anyone who Madara would be afraid of, now that I know that the hokages cannot be resurrected. Naruto's mother doesn't really seem very frightening without the fox...
And, how is it possible that this most powerful of techniques is in no way dangerous to the user? Every other jutsu in the ninja world is dangerous, but not this one? No soul to be paid in the end for all of your abominations? Nothing? I'm afraid that I will have to call shenanigans on this one.

Yeah... The last statement Kabuto makes is false, isn't it?
Either way, those brought back to life don't seem to be too much of a threat. Seeing as though... well... They get defeated by love. Just let Naruto start handin' out hugs, and they're all worthless, hahahaha (kidding, kidding)
I enjoyed the chapter. It's fun watching Kabuto and Madara's little feud. 🤣

That last thing about the resurrection technique not having any side effects gave me goosebumps..
Goosebumps of awkwardness :/ It somehow doesn't feel right that every rasengan jutsu Naruto learns has a HUGE side effect while something like this doesn't. Wow, just wow.

Agreed. Though it seems to need shitload of prep time to execute, not unlike Naruto and how he can't do sage mode on the fly without a Kage Bunshin prepped and already in sage mode. He needs the DNA, the soul, a sacrifice prepped inside a special seal beforehand -- way more than the simple blood sacrifice needed to summon an animal. There has to be some drawback, such as chakra requirements and whatnot. When I was discussing the edo tensei technique with guys from another forum, one common argument against the technique is that the wielder was incapable of fighting while controlling the summoned characters, as seen in the Sarutobi vs. Oro fight, when Oro had the Shodaime and Nidaime Hokages do the fighting while hanging back and not contributing to the battle when he could have.
One thing I found wierd, but possibly only a minor detail, was that his demonstration didn't involve the casket that is characteristic of the edo tensei technique. Kabuto may be withholding some information, hopefully the actual weakness the technique bestows upon its user. I also found it weird that Orochimaru, who Kabuto says perfected the technique, to not be aware of the limitations of the technique when he used it against Sarutobi. I'd wager that he knew that he was incapable of summoning the Yondaime and instead tried to summon someone else that was Kage level, but the third was good enough capable to halt the process (a popular idea I've seen mentioned was that Kakashi's dad, the White Fang, was the one Orochimaru tried to summon).

"Unfortunately, I had no luck finding Uchiha Shisui's corpse..."
Sweet Jesus the door has just been cracked open for yet another Uchiha to come crawling out of the woodwork!
Even if Danzo supposedly had one of his eyes, they've mentioned the bastard one too many times now. I'm suspicious.
Besides that, not an especially interesting chapter. Re: the discussion on Impure World Resurrection not having any drawbacks, I agree it seems way, way too easy the way Kabuto just made it sound. Hopefully there will be something unexpected down the line, but we'll have to see; Kishimoto loves coming up with supposedly dire predictions and then forgetting all about them. I mean, when Naruto first learned rasengan it was this big deal thing he could only use it on rare occasions, otherwise he might lose the use of his arms entirely, but all that was forgotten about pretty quickly. Now doing an even more powerful version of the technique just gives him a little ouchie on the palms of his hands (relatively speaking). 😛

About Naruto losing the use of his hands, thats when he started added wind element to the rasengan, he got around it in sage mode, since he could throw it that mode.
