The general conceit is that the local yakuza messes with the protagonist because they're trying to figure out how he fits into their social structure. Hitman has to find ways to defuse the situation, etc. Definitely a dark comedy, some action and drama elements as well.

There's this one scene where the local yakuza sent goons to beat the hitman up, and the hitman escapes from that by jumping off a bridge, but in a special way so he doesn't get hurt. One of the goons hears about it and tries jumping off the bridge himself and breaks his leg.
