I hate lazy co-workers who refuse to pull their own weight! I am so sick of knowing I will be taking care of all the customers every time I'm scheduled with this one girl. And then she always leaves as soon as we close "to catch a bus" and I'm stuck there late finishing up, leave the store and find her waiting outside because she missed her bus and wants to bum a free ride off me. NOT HAPPENING ANYMORE!!!! You can walk the two miles to where you make your connection from now on; I ain't giving you a free ride (or even a paid ride) anymore. Sorry, stressful night.

People who use me as their "Dear Diary". Literally.

"What if that poor diary doesn't want to get all those inky words on its pages?! Or what if that diary has stories of its own?! Colorful drawings and different handwriting...HA?!!"
No, nobody ever says that. Because it's JUST a stupid diary without a life. Dead tree. That's what it is. Recyclable. Once you don't like it, you just throw it away. Sigh.

- Those lingering feelings after a dream.

- Reading words spelled extremely wrong. Ex. - Wut, cuz, 4, lil' etc.
along with atrocious grammar
*( I know I'm not the best speller, and my grammar can be ... off, but at least I try to make an effort, and seeing others either not try or not care to be proper irks me)

- The smell of bacon cooking

- Soggy cereal (More of a hatred than irritation)

- YOLO - Just hearing/seeing how everyone took the saying you only live once and turned it into utter trash. Using that saying to justify your stupid actions. (Honestly the 'YOLO' thing irritates me so much I tell my friends if they ever say that in front of me I would lick their face and take a few loose strands of my hair and put it on their face. Maybe that would traumatize said person into never saying it again.)

- American remakes (moviewise). Or maybe it's more lack of knowledge that the movie is a remake of an old movie, or a foreign movie. REC is a big example of this. Honestly not even a year later there's an america remake almost shot for shot.
-Add music to this too. Lack of knowledge of old songs remade. Ex. Dead Or Alive - You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)

- Texting

- Saying "I love you" after a mere week (Or hours in some cases) of dating. Or "I love you too" it's the too that bothers me. It's too automated.

I think those are some of the major thing that irritate me.

-Not knowing how to express myself properly, in English, being unable to find the right words. Sometimes a lagoon is formed in my head and I feel totally emptied of words and meanings.

-When you have lots of friends but you feel alone anyway, as their holidays are not the same as yours.

- Quizzes that say boys/girls only
- No table manners or simply not following the eating etiquette.
- When people kill bugs
- When Barça wins and a lot of people shout, scream, through fireworks and make beeping noises with the car... especially when it's midnight and it's supposed to be time to SLEEP.
- Sexist jokes / gay jokes / racist jokes / trans jokes / disabled people jokes
- When people say "I'll call you" when we can perfectly say whatever we have to say at the moment
- Swearwords
- Signing in public
- Ridiculous fights between the sexes when deciding whether the toilet seat should be left up or down.

* Racist jokes. I just can't tolerate them.
* Tobacco smoke... It just might be the worst smell in the world.
* People judging others by their appearance.

Oh god, where to start?

Undisciplined children
Parents who let their spawns run wild
People with no common sense
Dumb drivers
My place of work (I work at a mall)
Animal abusers
Most shojo
And so many other things, I might seem bitter...

Children talking to strangers (aka talking to me)
Did their parents forget to teach them common sense or are the kids ignoring it?

Lack of Common sense
Sure, feel free to talk loudly on the phone standing in the middle of the street while chain smoking... RIGHT OUTSIDE THE HEART AND LUNGE WARD!! no, just don't. no

Parents expecting society to bring up their kids
You're their parents! Take some responsibility dammit!

Parents blaming society when their kid does something wrong
Go. Away. Before. I. Beat. The. Crap. Out. Of. YOU. GABIBCOOY? -_-

Mass media
✔ Call games "mass murder training simulators for kids"
✔ Painting women as special victims of society's cruelty. E.g. Woman murder, special women murdered by their lovers reports and so on.
✔ Spreading false political correctness and political propaganda which make people that think differently into racists. Yes, I have problems with 50.000+ Somalis immigrating and then allowed to get a driver's license payed with our taxes, their homes payed with our taxes, their food payed with out taxes and our schools and retirement homes shut down to give more space for their incoming "relatives" because we don't have enough space even for our 9.5million citizens. All of this without any requirements set on them? No need to learn our language within a few years like in Denmark? No need to get a job? Free money forever? ugh... no Perhaps I should tell my friends from Iraq, Iran, Rwanda, Syria and Burundi to get some false papers and immigrate once more but this time as Somalis. Oh wait, they all have either a steady jobs, go to university and some even have their own families now. roll eyes

Politicians
They play with our lives.

Bureaucrats
They make us waste our time.

Appmania
An app to keep your child healthy? The hell!?!?
An app to sing a lullaby for your kid!?!?!?
An app to tell you when to eat!?!?!?
An app to tell you when to sleep!?!?!?!??
An app to... Ahh just f**k this shit. mad I'm moving to an app free planet that isn't doomed. Anyone wanna tag along? cool

The horrible acoustic qualities of my house are extremely irritating! It wasn't built well (and has a *very* echo-y vent system connecting most rooms), so instead of noises being reduced in volume across rooms, it just adds resonance to them, making them more grand. So from another room or upstairs, somebody grabbing for ice from the freezer sounds like a load of bricks getting dumped, somebody closing a door sounds like a car trunk being slammed, someone singing at normal volume sounds like a bellowing anthem, and so on.

For me, who can only read, study, fall asleep, etc., in silence and who hates to be interrupted (since without sustained silence, I can't concentrate on anything), it makes me very annoyed, very fast and very often. mad

Edit:

Have you tried using ear plugs? and maybe combine ear plugs with noise cancelling headphones? (expect don't listen to anything). Those may help for times when you need to study or want to read and such.
Yes, I've tried earplugs, but unfortunately not only was the noise still noticeable (echo-y, resonating sounds must be hard to muffle), my ears also started to ache after a few hours. I've also tried some hearing protection earmuffs, which looked pretty heavy duty, but the noise was also still noticeable--I could still hear conversations from other rooms (after being passed through the vents, so they become very resonating and decently loud, but the point is that's the quieter end of the noises I want blocked). I've thought about buying noise-cancelling headphones, but they're so expensive, and I have very little confidence that they will actually block the type of noises I need them to.

The one thing the irritates me than anything is being ignored.
