Porn with a story or a Story with porn
Am i the only one that would much rather read a hentai manga for the story rather than a serialised manga that is so full of ecchi or is so border line hentai that it lose focus on the story? (that if it had one to begin with)
In one hand we have a doujin that, probably, come out at some convention, the circle have no need of getting a weekly rating, so, although the hentai is the main bait, it could have the story the artist want to show in a, decent, magazine. We, could, get to see what he really want's to write about, if you over look all that pe@@ses and vagi@@as. (this of course doesn't apply for most hentais that are just sex and nothing else)
On the other hand we have a mangaka that, probably, started as a hentai artist and finally made it to the magazine. The fear of the manga no longer been popular would probably make him put the story aside and just fill with... well you know. To make matters worst we knew what we were getting at with the other one (that might had even been from the same guy) but with this we might be just looking for something else...
Now, i'm not saying is always like this, it's just something that come to my mind and i wanted to know your opinions on the matter. For example: I hate Ikkitousen (the hole reason i made the topic is 'cos i was thinking of that) but i think Koe no oshigoto is quite funny. 🤣 (then again this might be just me since i'm really tired of the ecchi in general)

I feel Ya!
But I have to come across the first H/Borderline H that has a 'DECENT' story

Will only be left with his inner cries.

Try Oretama or Itoshi no Kana.

I'd like to add Velvet Kiss as well.

Nope, you're not alone. I've written this before, but I'm not really into ecchi. When they try to have a serious story, like let's say Highschool of the Dead, all of the ecchiness just distracts and annoys me.
On the other hand, I like borderline H and hentai. The sex actually has a point to it, and occasionally the stories are interesting

Even after dead, we raise from the ashes for the sake of manga.

:-( Hey, don't leave out Mama wa Doukyuusei, Aki-Sora, Yuria Type 100, Yomeiro-Choice, Virgin na Kankei, and Seikon no Qwaser!
As for hentai with story, well, I don't even consider Hishoka Drop, a series spanning 2 volumes, pornographic, since it focuses on corporate conspiracy & mystery, which is similar to the mangaka's other work, Sense, except where the sex was delusional in the latter, it was quite real in the former. Together Forever was pretty good, too. I didn't like the artwork of Play with Waka-Chan, although the guys at FAKKU! were practically crying 'Vanilla!' The White Bud of a Lust Flower had a decent story & it was drawn nicely, but it quickly fell to its Netorare classification, giving its angry readers the ass. Literally.
