I didn't say it was perfect, just near it. But surely even you can get a headache if you stare at a computer screen for over twelve hours?
My hearing actually seems better when more people are around. I find that really strange.
No, I can stare screen for three days straight before falling asleep, without even the smallest headache.
Twelve hours? Nah, I get a headache after fourteen hours.
BLEU eye coloah.

I wear contacts. Hard contacts too. And you're not suppose to wear them for over 10 hours.... you take them out before then! (and wear those ugly glasses that nobody knows I have --at home)
You'll get used to taking them out/putting them back in (every morning). easy easy
i get headaches from listening to my headset than staring at the screen...BTW i dont think i've replied to this topic yet so gotta say...i've got brown eyes but i'm near sighted so i wear glasses occasionally likecoughon examscough 🤣

I've worn soft contacts for, uh...22 years... (>_<)
First I had the kind that you replace once per year; now I have the kind that you're supposed to replace every month (but I often go longer than that between new pairs). I've always had the kind you're supposed to take out before you go to sleep, but I do occasionally sleep in them and it's not a problem. On a normal day, I wear them ~16 hours, with no problem. My eyes are pretty bad, so my glasses are pretty heavy, so I hate to wear them...so I don't. 😃

I've never had the need for contacts or glasses, i've had perfect vision my whole so far. The funny thing is just about everybody in my family has glasses.. the only people who don't are my dad and me! I really hope my vision stays good, case glasses seem like hassle!

wow, it is the same for me except both of my parents wear glasses! I have 20/15 vision, but I always think that I will one day go blind or that my vision will decrease a lot even before I am an elder person! (Isn't that when most people's vision start to decrease? Or is it middle age?)
I remember when I was a little kid I always wanted to where glasses because they looked cool...I was a weird kid! 😛

I've never heard of ones you replace once per year (for soft cons). I thought soft are always disposable. And 16 hours 😲 maybe it's different with soft cons.....
hard cons = unbearable after 8

^^^ I heard that too! Something about the dye of the contacts going into the eye. The worst ones right now are black contacts (because they're big and black, so they won't allow the eye to breathe..?)
but what if my eyes are close to black anyways? does that mean my eyes don't breathe anyways XD
k, that was a stupid Q

LOL
I mean... because those contacts are bigger, so they block the air from going in (something like that)
Black contacts.... as in the ones that make the pupil look bigger

Probably no one wears the "replace every 12 months" kind anymore now that they have reasonably priced disposable ones. Towards the end of the year, they did sometimes get a bit "dirty" with protein deposits & stuff. Oh, had to use enzyme cleaner on them once per week, I think; kind of a pain, but way better than wearing glasses!
Everyone's eyes are different, but mine tolerate contacts quite well. 😃 Two days in a row now I've worn mine for more like 20 hours, because I fell asleep on the couch with the lenses still in. Take 'em out, sleep four hours, put 'em in, all's good. 😀
