Even though its just very dark brown, and appears brown in sunlight, it's still visually black. I mean, that's like saying "I have dark brown hair, it only appears so under bright sunlight". People will always reply to that with "haa~ that doesn't count as brown!"

Mine're brown with dark brown flecks in 'em. Pretty standard gene-wise, as eyes go.

Mostly green, with a narrow brown ring around the iris. Hazel, I guess? (My boys' eyes are a lovely chocolate brown, LOVE that color eyes! 😃 )

Mine are light brown with black/dark brown? rings around them.

mine are similiar to tofu-queen's: except, mine are green around the rim and towards the pupil they fade into a light brown.
