how came so many people have brown eyes? it's quite uncommon here.... I'm going to google, this is interresting.

if there is an option between "to do" and "not to do", I will always choose the latter.

asians have brown eyes. most of the people on mangaupdates are most likely asian so that is probably why. I'm asian so i obviously have brown eyes~ ^^

I have differing shades. Left eye is dark brown with ocher yellow patches just near the pupil, right eye is almost black. You don't really notice it unless you look for it carefully. In childhood though as far as i can remember both eyes were almost black... no idea when they changed but noticed it during high school/graduation time

Edit: the most fascinating color i saw was this girl i had a crush on, in grade school, left eye was steel gray and right eye was golden yellow with streaks of reddish brown.

if i remember my high school biology correctly, brown is the most common eye color because its a dominate trait. colors like blue, green, hazel are recessive traits and thus less common.

also, i don't really know that most of the people on mangaupdates are asian. that would be an interesting poll.

anyways, i have brown eyes and am not asian, i'm black.

i´m from german and more than half of the people i know have brown eyes. on the other hand i´ve met some who never saw a person with green eyes before

Olive Green (dark blue ring on the outside, then lots of green, then a yellow ring, then light blue next to my pupil), my husband has green eyes too so both of my kids got green eyes...

My guess is Scandinavia. Blue eyes are rather common here.
Brown eyes are not that uncommon, they don't form the majority.
