In about a week's time is the infamous April Fools' Day (April 1st). At MU, we [color=red]WILL NOT[/color] tolerate any fake/joke releases being reported/announced to us. If we, by accident, allow a fake release to get through, please report the mistake to us (either via a [sitelink=submit.html?act=add_change]Change Request[/sitelink] form, through the forum, or you can email me at lambchopsil[at]gmail[dot]com if you are not a registered member here).

As you have been warned against doing it, if we discover a person still attempting to post a joke release here, that person will be dealt with. Severe action will be taken upon that scanlation group.

Thank you for considering our request to remain as accurate as possible for our members.

Just double checking: if someone not affiliated with the scanlation group posts a joke release, action is taken only against the poster, right? Is there some way to tell if the person posts on behalf of the scan group or is just a random person?

I've been using this site less than a year, so it's news to me.

The line about how the fake release poster will be "dealt with" cracks me up. It sounds like that person would mysteriously disappear...oh, the horror of MU's underground! Haha, buy jokes aside, thanks for the heads up. I always fall for April Fools jokes. It's nice to know that MU will be pretty accurate.

I was amused last April 1 as one group mixed up names on their releases and you had to download all of them to figure out where is manga that you looking for.

So this message IS the april fool's joke. Just a week ahead. Good one! 😀

It is one thing to get fooled on MU about manga (it is annoying to download a bunch of files only to discover that the files are a joke, but better than...) downloading a number of ANIME and to find that it was a joke (oh the pain, the time, the bandwidth and the effort!!). Whichever way it would be a pain in the a** >_>

I've been on MU for quite a while as well but it is not old news for me. I mean, it is almost 365 days difference so it would be expected the news need to be retold.

Also, a new year means a new year. Almost everything gets reset. Including this announcement (about April Fools). Just like the warm courtesy of MU saying Happy Chinese New Years every year, since it is a different year.

So BTW, this has been going on every year but it is still new news
