I dont know how it happend but when I went to post on a thread it said I had to wait 5 seconds before posting so I clicked the button to take me back to "post body" screen waited 5 and posted my message when it took me to the thread I had two posts both saying the same thing

You must've clicked twice successively by mistake and that's why it said to wait 5 seconds...It's sort of a security measure...meaning you already posted once...then when you waited 5 seconds and posted again, you double posted...so it's not a bug, just an accident

Eh? I dont recall pressing the "Submit reply" button twice. But I wont put it past this POS laptop of mine. It's pretty old, like 2002 old. IF that is what happened then I apologize for this post, but if it wasn't the case then it prolly should have been mentioned. If it happens again I'll mention it either here or in a pm to one of the admins.

seriously, its not a problem. Its happened to me tons of times.

This is not a bug.

What happend was that it told you to wait to post again because you (or maybe your laptop) clicked enter more than once. The server saw this as two or more seperate posts within a certain amount of time (However, only one showed up).

I'm pretty sure Manick has it set up so you must wait a certain amount of time between posts to make another one, as a sort of spam filter.

Thus, you had to wait. Checking to see if your post had already been posted was something you should have done. Going back and entering the post again was what caused it to show up yet again.

It's not a bug, its human error.
