this has been nagging at me but, i didn't really like this chapter all too much. Those two were the first couple in SR right? With what just happened, i don't think this chapter portains too well as to the direction this manga will go relationship-wise... lol

i mean, before it was kinda dodgey about what was happeneing between them, but in this chapter she outright admitted to what's really happening.

By love confession, did you mean Yakumo confessing to herself about like Harima, or about Yakumo confessing to Harima that Eri liked him?

If its about Yakumo confessing to herself, i think that that would turn out very nicely in future chapters if done properly.

What I mean, is that their relationship started as a filler and it is still a filler. And will end as a filler, if in a remote case it gets closure.

If Harima wanted he could have Eri, Yakumo, and Tae but he is an idiot and clueless sometimes.

come on man! my predection was so close and then the story back fires!
and this was a useless chapter! it should be ch b50 instead of ch 218!

Looks to me like this series is almost over yet it hasn't really built it up to any sort of conclusion.

Umezu is so trusting and this was such a light-heart comedy and now this,

You could kinda guess she was cheating on him, but what his friend did was even more dispicable...

So KIDO should die, Umezu would be a great guy for any other female lead (except Eri). >:-( >:-( >:-(

I agree, one of the most fustrating things was the reset of Harima and Eri. It's like the last hundred or so chapters didn't mean anything. The premise of Harima chasing Tenma and then being misunderstood wore thin awhile ago for me and what was keeping my interest in the manga was mainly Eri and Harima's almost "budding relationship".

As for Umezu and Kido, I actually liked that couple. Even though they were side characters they were like the first "offical" couple in School Rumble I think. At the very least they had the first kiss in the manga.

Looking at the recent chapters, if the mangaka is having trouble keeping the manga interesting I'd rather he just end it while it is still good rather then run it into the ground.

i completely agree. Sad though it may be for a series to end, its better ending it while its still good, instead of ending up with a rushed ending like Ichigo 100%...
