Hey there I'm looking for something that i started a while ago maybe 5 years back that I didn't finish. It was a manga about the male heir to a yakuza family. He lived in a ground level japanese style mansion/facility. For some reason there's a female lead who has been brought nearby or to the facility as a potential marriage prospect and their families know each other somehow.

There's also a subplot where they're recovering someone who was perceived to be kidnapped - maybe a colleague at school - and who was found to be running with another gang?

I wish i remembered more but a key point was that the female lead finds out - off screen - that the male lead is a masochist

It seems to be similar to Nisekoi (but it's a long one).

Do you remember anything else? Maybe chara names or appearances and such...

If I find anything similar, I'll share here. I'm pretty curious as to what manga it might be... o3o

Going out on a limb: Katekyo Hitman Reborn? I might have misspelled that.
