I think I was about 9 when I first started watching Pokemon ~ I loved it! 😃 I never really got seriously into manga until I was 17. My first manga was Azumanga Daioh ~ I wasn't that impressed, but I decided to try a few more: Fruits Basket, Hana Kimi and Happy Hustle High. Thus, an addiction was born. 🤣

I found out about anime when I was 10, with DBZ and Sailor Moon. And with manga, I was 14 but it was an H-Manga (Secret Plot).

Well when i was younger anime that was on tv just felt like any other cartoon. Then probably when i was around 13(2003?)my cus showed me a sub of naruto and i was hooked eversince. Of course i moved on too bigger and better ones.

not suprisingly mt first manga was naruto(man it was tough finding an online reader back then) via narutochuushin

Heres a list of all the early stuff i remember viewing

animes(dub)

Galaxy Express 999: Eternal Fantasy(movie)(was completely entralled about it at the time)
gundam wing(^^)
dragonball
sailor moon
transformers(?anime?)
speed racer
megaman
sonic the hedgehog(?anime?)( not the crappy cartoony one)
samori pizza cats(i was told i use to watch it)

(sub)
naruto
fullmetal panic
trigun

manga

naruto
followed by
fullmetal alchemic
flame of recca
grantz
...
..OH! hikaru no go

Etymology

The Japanese word manga, literally translated, means "whimsical pictures". The word first came into common usage in the late 18th century with the publication of such works as Santō Kyōden's picturebook "Shiji no yukikai" (1798), and in the early 19th century with such works as Aikawa Minwa's "Manga hyakujo" (1814) and the celebrated Hokusai manga containing assorted drawings from the sketchbook of the famous ukiyo-e artist Hokusai.[25] Rakuten Kitazawa (1876-1955) first used the word "manga" in the modern sense.[26]

Yeah why can't all countries just ignore there culture and heritage and just use English words all the time

Oh Blood Haze, you have got to be the best member on here...

Acting like a tough guy when you get proven wrong, and then poorly justifying it by saying you're an "idealist" despite you contradicting your idealistic ways by blatantly ignoring fact and believing that your way of thinking is right, WHICH IS EXACTLY HOW A CYNISIST WOULD ACT.

If we have a vote for best member, then I'm definitely voting for you. 🤣
