I feel that the typical shoujo heroine is too... boy crazy...

I'm new so I'm pretty sure there's been topics like this, but whatever. I can only relate to heroines like me, a bit tomboyish.

Whenever I read shoujo mangas, if the heroine is too girly or too damn vain, I just can't continue further. SO I had to put down a lot of the books in the middle of chapter 1 cause I couldn't stand them anymore.

Tomboyish and athletic is nice and doesn't have a major crush on the most popular guy in school who happens to have a huge fan club of girls and won't even notice her. That whole thing just gets me so infuriated.I also like them to be a great fighter, and isn't the type to be a damn vulnerable annoying damsel in distress who gives girls a bad name.

Heroines I've come to like:
Tsukasa from Tokyo Crazy Paradise
Misaki from Kaichou wa Maid-sama

What a short list, eh? I'm not that full on Otaku... I just like to read some shoujos and that's pretty much it.

Please and thank you ~!
