Which do you prefer? I've met plenty of people fond of salt, but personally I like pepper... I won't even add salt on my own accord, unless it's a recipe that needs it (like guacamole).

Your preference doesn't need to be in relation to food, either. I'm sure there are different uses for both salt and pepper out there.

i use both, but salt only goes on inherently bland food.

I used to use both, but when I discovered Tony Chachere's seasoning, I abandoned them both.

Both but if it's salt, I use only sea salt and very very sparingly as well. 🙂

Salt. I use salt for almost everything I eat. I'm not fond of pepper so I never use it. .__.

This is unfair! i use both salt and pepper and find them equal!!! But if anything i guess i use salt more, or at least it's in almost everything you eat

salt. sooo salt. it seems military cooks think we all like our food tasteless.

but pepper does have a nice effect on cottage cheese, with ketchup on a toast.
