Well at least he was inside his house. Not outside standing in his front of his house (which sadly has happened to me before and had to call the police).

I have a question. If this happened at 5:30 in the morning. What kind of insane elementary school is this? Starting so early. And if it happened at 8:30 that doesn't make any sense at all either. Unless Virginia is ridiculously different than where I come from neither time seems like a time you'd be walking your kid to the bus stop for school. So the question is. Why was she taking her kid to school so early or late?

You're damn lucky, then. 5:30 isn't so bad. I used to have to wake up at 5AM so I could get to the bus stop before 6, the school I went to was quite far away. I was in HS at the time, 08:00 - 14:30, I think. I'm a little bit more south than virginia, but aren't times different in every school? Though I'm sure the lady was really taking her kid to the bus stop -.-;

The kid's only 7, right? That's like, 2nd or 3rd grade? Still elementary school, which generally starts late.

@ayashe
I don't think it's really about sympathizing with the man, but the fact that the woman was being a peeping Tom, and actually going to the popo and accusing a person of such ridiculous acts is an injustice.

Choosing to walk around naked doesn''t necessarily make you loose. There are plenty of parts of the world where nudity or partial nudity is perfectly acceptable. The US does seem to have really odd double standards though.

In this particular case though, it seems that the woman was not viewing the man from an easily accessible public location. To me, that means she has more fault than the man (in a limited sense). I know plenty of people who sleep naked, at least seasonally, so I tend to believe him when he claims to not be exhibiting on purpose. And really, either those windows were unusually low, he's incredibly tall, or she was right next to the window to be able to see over the edge.

But yeah, let the courts handle it: they've got all the info and we don't.

i swear i remember reading something about someone calling the police b/c this guy had porn on the wide screen TV 24/7 and when that lady called the police they couldnt do anything b/c hes in his own house.

TONS of ppl walk around the house naked... or sleep naked...

guys like my dad walk around 1/2 naked... god..2 of my friends dad walks around the house with only their boxers on... they call b4 they bring anyone home.

where the hell was she walking anyways?? ritee next to his window?? when i walk around the neighborhood i see nothing but trees and windows with curtains... the only time i saw anything was when the dogs pushed the curtains away to bark at cars.

Cute story. Found a link with some details on the woman's/prosecutor's side of the story. The gist of it was that they saw him naked at a door in his house at 8:40 and then he followed them to a large open window to flash them some more. Police claim they believe there was an additional incident involving him nude.

According to one of the crappy FOX report the woman was apparently the wife of a cop which would explain the rather harsh methods described by the guy the police used to arrest him. He was believed to be drunk on that Monday morning by his roommates though he claims that was on Saturday night. Ah the burdens of being a local drunk guy. dead

called by you, called on you? Cant make out if it was you naked or another person, that case being I dont know why you "had" to call the police. See a man in the nude sitting/standing on the porch of his home? WHO CARES.

And i bet if it was a woman, standing naked and all outside, you wouldnt have called the police, amirite?

Now to reverse the situation.

Imagine if it was a man walking with his daughter, and it was a naked woman in the window. I think the police would just laugh and ignore the call.

Edit: Scratch that, he'd probably be arrested for peeping, and his child taken from him.

this fails because this would be any normal person´s reaction to anyone being naked. Unless the person notices people viewing and acts like they act it or something - posing is how I imagine it -.

Honestly sometimes I have to go move around naked in my house if I´m absent minded and need to get something from the kitchen and basement. I doubt he was thinking of spending over 30 minutes there. But he´s being charged because they think he might be an exhibitionist that would lie.

Anyway I think this will turn out alright for him, unless he gets caught again. I´m curious whether he lives with his daughter though.

I don't think there are many guys that would report it in the first place.

From what I've seen, guys tend to be a bit less caring about it, not saying that all females are prudes or some shit like that, but most people would admit that guys are a little bit more open about nudity most times.

What exactly was she doing out that late/early, anyway?

I can't believe it is even possible to get sentenced by the law for this, or is there a law that says you are not allowed to be naked in you own home?
In Germany your home is your own territory which means you can be as naked as you want, everywhere even on the balcony.
The same counts for your car, which means you can drive around naked if you want to, it's only forbidden to leave your car naked.

well we're speaking about USA here, where if I pat someone on the shoulder I could get arrested for assault, or sexual assault (in case it was a woman).

Its so sad seeing a nation founded on freedom going down the drain like this.
