this is similar to claymore/berserk - is high fantasy and gory with similar artwork. the main antagonist has this scene where he's presiding over a battle and disguising himself as just a mortal strategist but when one of the beasts in the battle comes at him he looks at it and it disintegrates. the POV of one of the characters is shocked and the antagonist shushes him with a small smile.

I believe in the beginning there's this scene where the protagonist goes to a town where a man/dark angel type person with black wings is killing people/infecting them? this type of dark angel person is the same type as the main antagonist, meaning they have similar powers over death I guess.

other characters in the antagonist's supernatural war collective (I forget who they're fighting):

a young girl who is actually very old and can summon/create monsters. there's a scene where all the baddies ask where she is and someone says she's contemplating the moon and it cuts to her looking at the moon

a masked man with long grey hair I think who wears a black coat and is the main baddie's transport I guess - he can teleport/create black portals of something

the main antagonist is immortal or very long lived. I can't remember anything about the protagonist.. there's a weird sex scene in a ship cabin that precedes a cool ship battle. I think there was a subplot about stealing gold or something.
